Abstract

Background and Purpose: Transcranial Doppler ultrasound (TCD) is a well-established Technique to ascertain intracranial obstructive artery disease. and has been shown to he highly sensitive for the diagnosis of MCA stenoses A new Multi-Gate TCD application offers a simultaneous examination at different depths We compared this new application to conventional TCD and MRA in 10 patients known to httve MCA-stenoses.
