Abstract

6 placentas delivered by Cesarian section were studied by transmission- and electron microscopy. Structure of the chorionic villus is coralliform. The average distance between the villi is 60-70 u. The microvillous cover of the syncytiotrophoblast could be studied by high power magnification. The authors believe, that this method can be successfully used for the study of the pathogenesis of the injury of materno-foetal circulation.
