Role of the cyclodextins in analytical chemistry

Abstract

This paper is dealing with the analytical usage of cyclodextrins and their other applications (e.g. pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics) are out of scope. Their fluorescent, sensory and chromatographic (solid phase extraction, gas chro-matography, high performance liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis) applications are detailed. Special emphasizes is taken for the chiral recognition feature of cyclodextrins.
