Resummation of the divergent perturbation series for the energy displacement of hydrogen atom in an electric field was discussed. Borel transform of the divergent perturbation series exhibited a rich singularity structure in the complex plane. It was shown that the Borel transform for the LoSurdo-Stark effect involved two cuts in Borel plane. This was due to the divergent alternating and nonalternating subcomponents of the perturbation series. The singularity structure was also expected for the divergent perturbation series of quantum chromodynamics.
