New experimental data offer the possibility of studying the production of hadron resonances in heavy-ion collisions. The hadronization of the assumed quark matter can be described successfully by quark coalescence. We extend this description for hadron resonances with high mass and finite width. We discuss the details of our model and display the obtained results.
