In the third part of their review, the authors summarise the data of literature on, and their personal experiences with the various methods offered to suppress the ovarian activity of jills, such as spaying, administration of hCG, use of synthetic gestagens and subcutaneous insertion of long-acting GnRH implants. The limitations and unwanted side effects of these interventions are also overviewed.
