Abstract

Relativistic calculations for K x-ray transition energies and emission rates for titanium atoms with various electron configurations were performed with the Dirac-Fock method. The theoretical values were compared with the experimentally measured K x-ray spectra for compounds of titanium and the electronic structures of the compounds were investigated.
