Reconfigurable sensor network architecture for distributed measurement systems

Abstract

A reconfigurable sensor-networking architecture constructed from lightweight functional elements, running on small virtual machines in parallel is proposed. The proposed architecture provides a flexible measurement system that is easily adaptable to changing system requirements in run-time. It is based on Communicating Sequential Processes and thus provides the possibility of verification and checking of system correctness.
