Reactive particles in random flows

Abstract

The chemically or biologically active particles which were advected by open flows of chaotic time dependence were investigated. Such particles were modeled by random time dependence of parameters on stroboscopic map. A general theory for reactions in random flows was developed and reaction equation was also derived. Singular enhancement of reaction in random flows was observed and this enhancement was increased as compared to nonrandom case.
