Paratesticular tumors are relatively rare (only 491 cases in the international literature). The epidemiological and histological characteristics of this rare tumor type are described and discussed, with a report of a personal case in which a fibrous pseudotumor originated from the tunica vaginalis testis. Since paratesticular tumors are sometimes malignant, inguinal exposure followed by accurate histological examination should be carried out, and treatment adjusted to its results.
