Abstract

Rapid annealing of Fe-B metallic glass ribbons was carried out using resistivity heating by means of a series of short electric current pulses/~0.1s/ flowing through the ribbon. The crystalline products formed by annealings were investigated by X-ray and electron diffraction, the morphology and size distribution by SEM and TEM. Results are compared with those from conventional crystallization.
