Abstract

Sulfate adsorption induced by cadmium adatoms on a smooth polycrystalline platinum electrode has been studied in 0.1 mol dm-3 HClO4 supporting electrolyte. Earlier work carried out with platinized electrodes has been confirmed, which prompts the initiation of more detailed studies at well-defined smooth electrode surfaces.
