Quantitative determination of photorefraction in Mg doped congruent and stoichiometric LiNbO3

Abstract

Quantitative determination of photorefraction in Mg doped congruent and stoichiometric LiNbO3 was presented. The Z-scan traces of cLN:Mg and sLN:Mg recorded at 0.4 W and 1.3 W power were presented. The refractive index change for cLN:Mg at 1.1 GW/m2 light intensity was -1.44·10-4 and for sLN:Mg at 3.7 GW/m2 was 2.44·10-5.
