Abstract

Two new proton emitting states in the deformed nuclei [Formula Presented] [Formula Presented] and [Formula Presented] [Formula Presented] have been identified. Experimental data are interpreted using the coupled-channels Schrödinger equation with outgoing wave boundary conditions. The observed resonances are discussed in terms of deformed single-proton orbitals close to the [Formula Presented] Fermi level.
