Abstract

PASSIVE immunization with antiserum against transplantation antigen should inhibit the immune response against a transplant in the same way that anti-D antibodies are used to combat Rh-incompatibility in an Rh-negative mother1-3. We have studied the possibility of this approach as an alternative to immunosuppressive therapy.
