Abstract

Correlation is demonstrated between the α-helix content in trifluoroethanol, and some in vitro biological and immunological properties of a series of synthetic βp-endorphin analogs. It is suggested that the biologically and immunologically active conformations of β-endorphin have common features with that adopted in secondary structure promoting environment.
