Precise half-life measurement of Sn110 and In109 isotopes

The half-lives of Sn110 and In109 isotopes have been measured with high precision. The results are T1/2=4.173±0.023 h for Sn110 and T1/2=4.167±0.018 h for In109. The precision of the half-lives has been increased by a factor of 5 with respect to the literature values, thereby making results of the recently measured Cd106(α,γ)Sn110 and Cd106(α,p)In109 cross sections more reliable.
