Potential benefit of a Trans Atlantic collaboration in research in the Central & East European Countries

Abstract

Hungarian Universities and Cedars Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) are working on Research Collaboration Project to develop an action plan for the protection of biotechnology inventions and its transfer to the market. The project aimed to provide legal and financial support to the inventors in the Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) and use tremendous potential of the technology transfer between the USA, European Union member and associated states. The project also aims to educate University Szeged and related nonprofit institutions to develop a successful technology transfer and commercialization system.
