Abstract

Prostaglandins play an important role in the regulation of bladder emptying. It seems that raised levels are responsible for the known symptoms of patients with benign prostate hyperplasia. The studied product significantly lowers prostaglandins - measured in the prostate exprimate. It can be assumed that the observed therapeutic success is caused by reduction of these arachidonic acid metabolites.
