Abstract

The rheological and wetting properties of 3P resins and resin components have been studied. Rotational viscometry gave information about the apparent viscosities and in certain cases about the thixotropic behaviour of the investigated samples. The contact angles were measured on ceramic and PVC substrates. It was revealed that the wetting ability of the resin below the pot life is mainly influenced by the 'B' component of the resin.
