Abstract

This paper gives the present status of the preparation of the CsI(Tl)+Si PIN photodiode detectors to be used in a compact array at the RIKEN RI Beam Factory. We discuss the optimum selection of surface treatment, wrappers, adhesives for the size and geometry of our crystals and present test measurements carried out in RIKEN and ATOMKI.
