Abstract

Plasmonic structure integrated superconducting nanowire single-photon detector (SNSPD) configurations were optimized for 1550 nm p-polarized light illumination to maximize absorptance. Orientation dependent NbN absorptance, spectral sensitivity and dispersion characteristics were investigated to find optimal configurations.
