Optical conductivity of the triplet superconductor Sr2RuO 4

Abstract

Now the spin triplet superconductivity in Sr2RuO4 is well established. As to the nodal structures seen in high quality samples, there are two alternative models at present: a. 2D f-wave model with Δ(k)∼(k̂x±ik̂y)cos(ck z) and b. the multigap model with Δ1(k) ∼(k̂x±ik̂y) and Δ2(k)∼(k̂x±ik̂y) cos(ckz/2). In this paper we calculate the optical conductivity for T≪Tc in the 2D f-wave model and show that it differs significantly from those in the multigap model.
