New experimental results are presented on the laser induced optical bistability oscillatory behaviour in amorphous GeSe2 vacuum evaporated films. The amplitude and the frequency of the oscillation changes linearly on a logarithmic time scale at a fixed intensity, i.e. logarithmic time dependence was found. A double-well potential model is proposed to explain the new observations.
