Abstract

The operation of a Ca-dependent, quinine-, chlorobutanol-, and chlorpromazine-sensitive K-transport (the so-called Gardos-effect) is demonstrated in human lymphocytes. During stimulation this process presumably contributes to the activation of the Na, K-pump and to the acceleration of Ca-uptake.
