Abstract

Oncological hyperthermia is the oldest cancer therapy. This relatively simple method could not reach its acceptance. Appropriate, selectively focused, controllable and safe deep-heating is necessary for oncology. Oncothermia solved it with the latest bioelectromagnetic achievements, proven in-silico, in-vitro, ex-vivo, in-vivo and in-clinico practices and results in the last 20 years. Book will be the first to describe the electromagnetic-energy driven process, not centered on the temperature increase. Book explains oncothermia in details (also in rigorous mathematical basis in appendixes) showing thermal but not temperature dependent processes. The book shows the biophysical basis of thermotherapy and approaches the topic by biochemical and not thermodynamical basis. Scientists, physicians and medical practitioners could learn from the book the reason of the missing acceptance of the historical hyperthermic oncology and the solution to place it to the spectra of modern oncotherapies.
