Abstract

Multi-dimensional coincidence experiments produce large data volumes, which need to be stored on computer disks for further retrieval and analysis. In this paper, two methods are dicussed and applied to coincidence matrices from gamma-ray spectroscopy experiments, which reduce the space needed on computer disks by a factor 3 to 10.
