On the combination of tensor product and fuzzy models

Abstract

The paper investigates several possibilities to combine tensor product (TP) and fuzzy models aiming the development of control systems. Applications of TP are analyzed including the one class of benchmarks consisting of first-order plus dead time plants. The development and experimentation of control systems for these benchmarks is exemplified for a case study focused on air stream and temperature control. Preliminary real-time experimental results validate the theoretical approaches.
