On the binary fission modes of ground-state-like configurations in sd shell nuclei

Abstract

The allowed and forbidden binary fission modes of the ground-state-like configuration in sd shell nuclei are determined from a U(3) selection rule. Those fragmentations are considered in which all the nuclei are stable isotopes.
