ON THE ARMAX-TYPE SYSTEM PROPERTIES AFFECTING THE QUALITY OF CONTROL BY DISCRETE TIME INVARIANT MINIMUM VARIANCE REGULATORS.

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

A time invariant discrete linear single-input single-output stochastic ARMAX-type system controlled by a time invariant discrete linear minimum variance regulator was considered in this paper. The ideal control profit was introduced, and its dependence on system properties was investigated. Further an estimate of the output variance increase caused by regulator parameter errors was found. Results reported in this paper are of importance in the case of control by discrete linear self-tuning regulators.
