Abstract

Observation of an indirect, negative 1H→1H→ 13C nuclear Overhauser effect (n.O.e.) may be an alternative method for oligosaccharide sequencing where the interglycosidic 1H{ 1H} n.O.e. can be efficiently 'relayed' to the directly bonded anomeric carbon or the glycosylated carbon nucleus.
