Nonuniform dynamic gratings in photorefractive media with nonlocal response

Abstract

The transmission of four-wave mixing (FWM) in ferroelectric crystals was discussed. Damped sine-Gordon equation was used which governs the soliton propagation. Results showed that changes of the grating amplitude profile in dependence of input intensity ratio match the solutions of the damped sine-Gordon equation in steady state.
