NEW CLASS OF NONLINEAR N-PORTS AND SOME PRACTICAL CONSEQUENCES.

Research output: Contribution to journalConference article

Abstract

A new class of n-ports, called off-diagonally locally active (passive), is introduced. It is in between the globally passive and locally passive n-ports and it is, in general, nonreciprocal. Several practical physical devices are of this type (e. g. transistors). A result concerning the dc analysis of circuits is shown as an example of the practical applications.
