Abstract

The enumeration contains the occurrences of 48 vascular plants of the north-eastern margin of Hegyalja. Most of them are protected (36) and regionally rare species (12). The data presents the botanical importance of the areas of forest steppe meadows and slope steppes that have survived from the former continuous oak forest on loess (Aceri tatarico-Quercetum roboris ZÓLYOMI 1957) zone. The paper lists the occurrences of both previously described, recently confirmed data, and also new findings, including the following, e.g.: Dryopteris dilatata (HOFFM.) A. GRAY; Pulsatilla montana (HOPPE) RCHB.; Adonis vernalis L.; Phlomis tuberosa L.; Platanthera chlorantha (CUST.) RCHB.; Nepeta nuda L.; Achillea ochroleuca EHRH.; Stipa dasyphylla L.
