New antiarrhythmic agents: A conceptually novel approach

Abstract

Synthesis and biological evaluation of novel phenoxyalkyl amines exhibiting both class Ib and class III type electrophysiological properties are described. Two compounds showed excellent antiarrhythmic effects against reperfusion induced arrhythmias. (C) 2000 John Wiley and Sons. Inc.
