Neutron physical properties of a multidisc velocity selector

Abstract

Neutron physical parameters of a multidisc velocity selector were studied in the time-of-flight set-up of a small angle scattering spectrometer. Transmission, wavelength vs. rotation frequency, resolution vs. rotor tilt angle as well as resolution vs. beam divergence characteristics were determined.
