Monte Carlo simulation programs for microcomputers

Microcomputers can be successfully used to teach the Monte Carlo simulation, a standard tool in statistical mechanics. The authors give BASIC programs for percolation, the Ising model, the structure of hard disc liquids and for the travelling salesman problem.
