Abstract

In the present paper, a heat flow network model based on the block oriented Matlab/Simulink model was implemented in LabView. The model is going to be validated with special equipment, which requires the meteorological parameters. Such parameters are the solar irradiation, the wind speed, the ambient temperature and the temperatures of solar cells built in the BP 275 type. To fulfill the research requirements, a meteorological station were built on the top of the PMMK main building, next to the PV modules. This station contains a Kipp & Zonen pyranometer, ThiessClima wind speed and wind direction sensor, and standard Pt1000 resistance thermometer. All sensors were connected to a National Instruments USB 6008 type data acquisition instrument which is programmed by LabView. The collected data's and the output of the performance model can be compared real-time.
