Abstract

By performing selective excitation of the exciton luminescence on two-dimensional digital magnetic heterostructures based on II-VI semiconductor materials, we have studied the influence of electronic confinement and of exciton primary localization on the formation of exciton magnetic polarons. The digital distribution of the magnetic layers has been confirmed by transmission electron microscopy and the shift between the energy of selective excitation and conventional luminescence peak positions has been attributed to the formation of magnetic polarons.
