Abstract

On UV irradiation of Fe(bipy)2(CN)2 complex geminate pairs form consisting of oxidized complex and electron. Their reactions in the presence of electron scavenger can be interpreted by the Noyes model, even in the case of micellar systems. The quantum yield vs. CSDS relationship (SDS, sodium dodecylsulphate) provides information on the critical micellar concentrations.
