Medium range correlation in decomposing binary systems

Abstract

The evolution of the structure was followed in decomposing binary systems. In Au-Pt and Au-Ni alloys, TiH(D)x and liquid crystal dispersed polymer mixtures small angle neutron scattering results revealed the common feature for decomposition phenomena of different origin: pattern formation and development of medium range structures.
