Abstract

A heterodyne signal was produced by backcoupling a He-Ne laser beam by means of a rotating radial grafting into the active cavity of the laser. The optical mixing was observed behind the high reflectivity mirror, and was measured by a wide-band type detector. The frequency dependence of the heterodyne signal showed an unusual feature.
