Objectives: the aim of the study is to survey the oncological aspects of organ transplantation. Material and method: the authors are presenting a case of oral malignancy occured ninteen years after renal transplantation, and with refference to this are reviewing the hungarian and international literature. Results: It is known that in transplanted patients who are taking immunsupression therapy the occurence of malignant tumours is more frequent that in normal population. The types of tumours seen in transplanted patients differ from the malignancies of the normal population. Conclusion: In transplanted patients a systematic medical and oncological control is recommended. Because of increasing number of solid organ transplantation the more frequent occurence of de novo malignancies is expected.
