Magnetothermopower in unconventional density waves

Abstract

After a brief introduction on unconventional density waves (i.e. unconventional charge density wave (UCDW) and unconventional spin density wave (USDW)), we discuss the magnetotransport of the low temperature phase (LTP) of α-(BEDT-TTF)2KHg(SCN)4. Recently we have proposed that the low temperature phase in α-(BEDT-TTF)2KHg(SCN) 4 should be UCDW. Here we show that UCDW describes very consistently the magnetothermopower of α-(BEDT-TTF)2KHg(SCN)4 observed by Choi et al.
