Abstract

The magnetic properties of nanocomposites containing FeNi or Fe dispersed in a MnZn ferrite matrix were discussed. The structural properties, grain size and lattice distortion were estimated by x-ray diffraction. The dispersion of the metallic particles was examined by transmission electron spectroscopy (TEM) and scanning electron spectroscopy (SEM). Results showed that FeNi nanoparticles proved to be more resistant to the internal oxidation and consequently the proximity of the particles provided the dipole ferromagnetic coupling up to the Tc of particles.
