Mössbauer spectra of unreduced catalysts for ammonia synthesis obtained in plasma

Abstract

Samples of ammonia synthesis catalysts obtained in plasma were studied. The composition of the samples is analogous to that of industrial catalyst CA-1. The samples are finely dispersed and have a comparatively large specific surface area. Their quantitative and qualitative composition was determined by means of Mössbauer spectroscopy. The conditions of plasmochemical synthesis were identified with the hypogene conditions of mineral-forming processes.
