Luminescent properties of Cu6PS5I nanosized superionic conductors

Cu6PS5I nanocrystalline superionic conductors were obtained by ball milling; their average size was estimated from X-ray diffraction measurements. Luminescence studies of nanocrystalline powders were performed; the transformation of luminescence spectra is discussed. By decreasing the crystallite size down to nanoscale a considerable blue shift of the bands, halfwidth variation and a redistribution of their intensities are observed.
