Low temperature Mössbauer measurements using a closed cycle He refrigerator

Abstract

In this paper a low temperature Mössbauer system is described. It is based on a closed cycle He refrigerator working in a non-continuous mode. This results in a very simple construction without any special vibrational isolation. Spectra are shown for illustration.
