Low-energy behaviour of the proton optical potential of Sn

Abstract

A careful optical-model analysis of proton elastic scattering data obtained from 116,120Sn at energies near the Coulomb barrier reveals a more rapid dependence of the real well depth on energy than has been found at higher energies.
