Elastic α-particle differential cross sections have been measured at 12.8, 14.5, 16.3 and 18.1 MeV on62Ni in the angular range from 20 to 166 degrees. The angular distributions were analysed in terms of the optical model. The energy dependence of the volume integrals was compared with the prediction of a model based on the dispersion relation between the real and imaginary parts.
